Odi Kuno Program continues

Last weekend, a 69 year old woman of kopaland Ndola was the recipient of various household groceries from the Cherise Makubale Foundation.

The woman, who is physically challenged and uses a wheelchair, also received 10 bales of knitting cotton to enable her earn a living as she is skilled in making school Jerseys.

This came to light when volunteers from the Foundation visited her premises in their outreach programme called Odi Kuno. This program is specifically targeted at widows, widowers and the elderly in Ndola who are struggling with the upkeep of their household and feeding the families they look after due to poverty, unemployment or circumstances beyond their control.

She becomes the second person to benefit from the programme which started in July 2023. This is in addition to the foundation's main program of educational sponsorship for vulnerable children.

CMF is a mobile charity directly working at grass root level with people in the community. This would not be possible without your donations, so please consider donating your unwanted items mainly clothing, shoes, school accessories etc as we still have so many vulnerable people needing your help.

Thank you
