What an incredible four months it has been. Zambia, you have been amazing. We want to extend a huge thank you to all the volunteers and sponsors who made this such a fruitful and meaningful 2026 charity calendar.
This year, the Cherise Makubale Foundation delivered an approximate community support value of K150,000 across 12 different initiatives, reaching communities at the grassroots level.
Main Highlights of the 2026 Cherise Makubale Community Fund
- K10,000 donated towards the support of newly born triplets
- Ndola Arrows Football Club pitch rent for 2026 — by December will total K12,000
- K6,500 stove donation for Glory Orphanage and Community School, for use in the kitchen we built for them in 2025
- K12,000 donation towards Thompson Special School for their adult classes
- Catering sponsorship for 5 youth — approximately K25,000
- Marketeers fund for 10 women at K2,000 each
- K10,000 in total prizes donated for a cooking competition
- K10,000 donation to a community school in Chipulukusu called Help Me to Learn
- Driving sponsorship for four youth — about K12,000
- AN Sports Academy support for Easter basketball sponsorship in Chingola — K7,000
- K10,000 towards a birthday lunch at Kopala Chef Noriega Restaurant in Kitwe with selected women of the community
- K15,000 donation to Samuel Matete's athletics academy
