We took the last of our sponsored girls shopping for new shoes as a small celebration of their incredible achievement.
The Cherise Makubale Foundation has been fully sponsoring their education since Grade 6, and they have now successfully completed Grade 12. These were our final individual sponsorships — a chapter that began many years ago and has culminated in this proud moment.
A shoe shopping trip may seem like a small gesture, but it represents something much bigger — the end of a long journey and the beginning of a bright new chapter for these young women. They have worked hard, stayed focused, and seen it through to the end.
