On March 18th 2026, the Cherise Makubale Foundation proudly donated K12,000 to the Special Education School at Thomson Children's Hospital in Luanshya.
This support went directly to empowering the mothers of children with special needs — many of whom are unemployed and waiting daily on school grounds while their children attend classes.
Turning Idle Time into Opportunity
Instead of idle time, these strong women will now get the boost to start small businesses, provide for their families, and gain financial independence — all guided by the school.
This initiative represents one step toward stronger families and brighter futures. When we empower mothers, we empower entire households. These women show incredible dedication to their children, and now they have the opportunity to build something for themselves too.
