Christmas came early yesterday for 85 year old Mr N’gandwe, who was the recipient of assorted groceries for Christmas worth K1600.
Mr N'gandwe is a retired widower from Pamodzi, Ndola, Zambia. He becomes the fifth recipient of our " Odi Kuno" program which is specifically targeted at widows, widowers and the elderly in Ndola who are struggling with the upkeep of their household and feeding the families they look after due to poverty, unemployment or circumstances beyond their control.
We know these are hard and challenging times, but if you can, please spare a thought for the vulnerable.
